Spring Break in Carlton Landing is in full swing. For the first time in a long time, we have had company for dinner three nights in a row! During the week! It feels like a lake weekend all week long. The kids are playing ALLLLLL day and worn slick by dark. Firefly is full of families playing kickball or you may get roped in to a game of Spike Ball and everyone is anxiously awaiting the food trucks and brand new Mama Tigs’ Pizza Kitchen to open!
First things first, the weather. The week started out a little cool, but by Friday, highs will be back in the 70’s and nearing 80 by Saturday. Then, in true Oklahoma weather fashion, we will start the roller coaster of 60’s and 70’s with rain and sun the following week.
Springs a Poppin’!
Spring Break in Carlton Landing signals the beginning of the season. The sidewalks and avenues shed their winter coats to make way for friends and neighbors to get out and explore! This Saturday, March 24th, from 8am – 12pm, make your way down to the pop-up shops and check out the offerings from retailers around the area and some of our residents, as well. There will be some home goods, t-shirts, oils, and hopefully, the farmers market will get fired up for the season. Come support our local business people and enjoy hanging out with your friends, old and new!
Sunday Worship
Carlton Landing Community Church is to have Wes and Amy back to lead us in some great worship music and Jake Thomas will walk us through the lesson of the week. Join us at the CLCC tents located at the end of lower boardwalk at 10am for donuts, coffee, and some great fellowship.
