It’s Been One of Those Weeks
First of all, sorry for the tardiness of this post. We have been out of Carlton Landing and off in the big city clearing out our remodel that sold this week! The picture above is as we were walking out of the house today, for the last time. There were mixed emotions about leaving a place that provided some great (and some not so great) memories for our family. We were excited to get back to Carlton Landing to hang out with some awesome friends this weekend!
Back to business, the weather this weekend is going to be AWESOME! Porch weather at its best. Highs in the mid 70’s both days and 50’s at night. Perfect Spring weather.
It’s a Quiet Place
I hear there will be lots of visitors around this weekend, but there are not many events to share. The pool is open and the grills are clean and full of fuel. Gather your family around the awesome picnic tables and gnaw on some good grilled meats! Or, head down to Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza and grab a pie and salad. It’s going to be a great weekend to be outside seeing your friends and neighbors. Who knows, a game of spike ball will probably happen in Firefly Park or a game of Cornhole in front of David Auld’s house. Just stay on the lookout and don’t be afraid to join in!
Carlton Landing Community Church meets every Sunday at 10am in the tents at the end of Lower Boardwalk across from the Town Green and soon to be beach. Join us this week for a great message from Jake Thomas and worship music from Derek Waugh. Join us!
There is always time to look around at the beautiful houses for sale in Carlton Landing. If you are in town and may be in the market for a home here, please reach out to David to make an appointment to take a look see! He can give you the all the skinny on buying or building and tell you about our favorite little slice of Heaven along the way.
